3. SCENARIO QUESTIONS
  • 3.1 There is a long line of customers all waiting for service and you are the only mechanic on duty, how do you handle this situation?
    • If I was the only mechanic on duty, I would remain calm and organized. First, I would acknowledge each and every customer communicating clearly about the situation, giving realistic wait times and doing the very best possible to help everyone.
    3.2 A customer is not happy with the labor fee and does not want to pay for it. Your colleague has already explained that this fee is mandatory, but they still argue the charge. What would you do?
    • I would listen carefully to their concerns and ensure they feel heard, then politely restate why the labor fee is mandatory and what it covers. Transparency is important.
    3.3 A customer is being disrespectful towards one of your colleagues and starts to threaten them. What would you do?
    • If a customer threatens a colleague I would remain calm, support my colleague, politely ask the customer to stop. If the behavior continues I would notify the management immediately to ensure everyone's safety and follow company procedures.
