    1.5 Driver's License: 1.6 Personal Biography (Minimum 100 words):
    • I am James Ortiz. I was born on May 11, 1995. I used to live in a small town in Latvia, which was called Madona. My father was working for the country as a deputy Sheriff. He told me and my siblings a lot about his job and what he had to do. My mother was a nurse in the local hospital. She helped many people and taught us a lot about human bodies and how to help injured and old people. Even though my parents had pretty good jobs we weren’t as rich as other people thought. We could only afford the necessary things. When I was in elementary school, we had a lot of fun playing different games, but one of my favorites was cops and robbers. While I was in high school, I started to learn driving at high speeds since my dream was to compete in rally races. After a long time of training, I bought a very cheap car and put a roll cage in it because it was necessary for driving in the rally. When I got more money, I started to slowly upgrade my car and ranked higher in rally races. Even though I drove in rally, I found a lot of free time so I applied at the local Sheriff’s Department and after getting accepted, I decided to apply for Highway Patrol. After working for 2 years, I was a Traffic Corporal. But then our sheriff died and a lot of the people left the department so we got disbanded. After that, I knew that I have to start over my life, so I moved to Los Santos.
2. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2.1 Why do you want to work at Bayview Auto Center? (Minimum 50 words):
    • As probably most people know by now, downtown cab company, which used to mean a lot to me, has had major changes and just isn't a company I want to work for anymore. I have thought about enjoying my retirement and not work anywhere, but after talking to some of my old colleagues and friends, I have decided that I want to join BAC. I don't want to spend my life sitting and doing nothing, but would rather spend time with close friends and, most importantly, work somewhere with an enjoyable environment.
2.2 Why should we hire you? (Minimum 100 words):
    • I have had a lot of past experience working in team based environments, which also includes working as a mechanic (full-time and on the side). Even though I haven't worked on cars for over 6 months now, I have always had a huge passion for engines, cars, and they have always been a part of me.
If we take away my experience as a mechanic, I have even more experience leading a small part of a company and a whole company. This experience for me started when I became assistant division head in DCC about 15 months ago and led the mechanic division there. When I became COO of DCC about 12 months ago, my experience in that field became even wider.
2.3 What qualities will you bring to Bayview Auto Center?
    • As I mentioned before, I have a lot of experience working in a team. I would say that great teamwork skill is the best quality I can bring to the company. I might not be the most sociable person, but I am most definitely a very nice and welcoming person which brings joy to customers and fellow employees.
2.4 Have you ever been affiliated with any criminal organizations?

3. SCENARIO QUESTIONS
  • 3.1 There is a long line of customers all waiting for service and you are the only mechanic on duty, how do you handle this situation?
    • In this situation, there is not much more to do other than continue helping the customers. I would try to see if anyone is available on the radio to clock on and help out, but of course, I would not put any pressure on them, as they are not obligated to clock on. Even though I might be overwhelmed with the number of customers, I would not start to do my job a lot faster because, for me, the quality of work is the most important.
3.2 A customer is not happy with the labor fee and does not want to pay for it. Your colleague has already explained that this fee is mandatory, but they still argue the charge. What would you do?
    • I wouldn't continue to argue with the person, as it is pointless. I would let them know that if he does not want to pay the labor fee, we can not work on his vehicle.
If the customer would be respectful and didn't have enough money for the labor, I would help him out and spare some money, but since this doesn't seem to be the case, he is free to continue driving in a damaged vehicle.
3.3 A customer is being disrespectful towards one of your colleagues and starts to threaten them. What would you do?
    • Firstly, if I see that the argument is very tense, the threats are heated, and the customer has a weapon they can attack with, I would quickly ask someone on the radio to alert law enforcement, since the situation has a possibility of escalating. Then I would go up to the employee and customer, and attempt to de-escalate the situation to the best of my ability and make sure that our employee stays safe.
