BREAKING: Lewis Langley Appointed as Interim Owner of Benny's

Image

Los Santos,

Weazel Network is the first to announce that Benny’s Original Motorworks will be undergoing a major leadership transition; Lewis Langley has officially been appointed as interim owner, succeeding longtime Owners Collie Fegan and Larry Wrzosek, who will be stepping down to pursue new ventures.

Langley brings with him an eager approach to business, and a passion for custom culture that aligns perfectly with Benny’s legacy. Under his leadership, Benny’s is expected to expand its innovation in custom vehicle modification, deepen community partnerships, and continue to hold its position as the premier custom shop in Los Santos.
Lewis Langley, Interim Owner of Benny's wrote:
Hi guys… I’m Lewis… I used to be a governor… I’m looking forward to the opportunity away from strip clubs, Langley joked when introducing himself. Benny’s has always been more than just a shop, it’s a cultural landmark. I’m honored to carry on its legacy and excited to take it to the next level. I’m saddened to see such great leadership step down; however, I am beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to step in and make sure we prepare Benny’s for the next leader. Benny’s has been a passion of mine since it implemented. I’ve been so proud of how it’s grown, and I would like to personally thank both Collie Fegan and Larry Wrzosek for all the work they’ve put in over the past year and a half.
This appointment is interim and will remain in place until the application process concludes and the right fit for permanent leadership is decided by Los Santos Legal Services—those applications expected to be opened in 30 days.

Fegan and Wrzosek leave behind a remarkable legacy, having transformed Benny’s from a niche mod shop into a citywide brand recognized for its elite craftsmanship and signature style. The company expresses deep gratitude for their leadership and vision over the years, and we are excited to see what direction Lewis takes Benny's in next.

Stay tuned for more updates—Benny’s is shifting gears, and the road ahead is wide open.

Section 7: WENN & Law Enforcement

Image
1.1 - Weazel Entertainment News Network - WENN Relationships with Businesses and Agencies
WENN and Law Enforcement Policies
  • When interacting with any law enforcement offer, a high degree of professionalism and integrity is expected. Failure to behave and conduct yourself appropriately may result in disciplinary action and/or termination.
1.2 - Los Santos Police Department
These are terms agreed upon between Weazel News and LSPD.

To ensure the safety of every news reporter, writer, civilian, and Officer we have devised a scene safety protocol that will allow you to safely, but effectively interact with Los Santos Police Department officials for journalistic purposes while on scenes. Each and every situation the Los Santos Police Department works on may, and usually contains a dose of investigative confidentiality that must be respected.

Sensitive, unreleasable information is vital in day-to-day police work and is often kept as such before an investigation is finalized. The presence of potential danger on every scene is ever so high, and your approach must be in accordance with the protocol in place which puts the safety of the citizen first, and journalism at the forefront of the idea at the same time.

Scene Basics

Safety - Stand behind designated barriers and/or cruisers that outline a crime scene, or an area of restricted movement. The Los Santos Police Department prioritizes the safety of everyone above all, including citizens and journalists - act in accordance with safety measures set on specific scenes. The word of an Officer should be treated with the utmost seriousness, on scenes, you will be told to move, relocate or leave at times, please, be mindful of this. Once the safety of everyone is guaranteed, you may proceed in a regular fashion and make your request clear.

Communication

Communication is vital. Communicate with Officers on the scene to clarify your intentions to in turn get the necessary information you require as soon, and as safely as possible. Remain vigilant of your surroundings, and prioritize your safety before anything else.

Information

You may request a Spokesperson at any point in time, or anyone authorized to speak on behalf of the Los Santos Police Department. Some situations may require the full attention of all Officers on scenes that may delay or prolong responses, or submissions of your requests. Information about an event/scene will be provided as soon as it is safe to do so if any can be provided. Safety must be guaranteed before any information is requested, and given as well. Safety will be determined by the scene supervisor.

As a final point, remaining informed and obtaining releasable information is your right. This proposed protocol ensures the safety of everyone involved during active scenes which you wish to cover. This is subject to change depending on the scale, sensitivity, and other influential factors that might affect scenes that you wish to attend and cover. Please, be mindful of this. If an officer fails to follow protocol, politely ask for the officer's badge number, stop talking with them and file an IA report.

Image
3.1 Introduction
Congratulations on joining the Weazel Network! As a new employee, you are required to undergo a training period where you can learn the ropes of being a Weazel employee. This is also a period during which you will be evaluated, to ensure you are making sufficient progress to become a Junior Employee.
3.2 Training Requirements
In order to be successful during your training you must:
  • Post several Bulk Ads out without any mistakes, showing you are comfortable with the bulk sheet, and using the calculator, etc.
  • Respond to a news request, and be able to deliver a creative advertisement with color and icons without any help from your trainer. (If help is needed do ask, to pass this step you must do it without support)
  • Successfully complete a Blip for either a business or a house and show that you know the difference in pricing structures between both of them.
3.3 Completing Your Training
You have a maximum of 2 WEEKS to complete your training. If you feel you have successfully completed the requirements for your training in under 2 weeks, and you have shown that you are capable of progressing, you must submit a trainee evaluation request here. Once this is submitted your performance will be reviewed and if you have been successful you will be promoted to Junior Staff.

However, if 2 weeks have passed and you have not met the requirements or you have received disciplinary actions, then you may fail your training and have your employment terminated. If you are unable to show up to work and complete your training within 2 weeks for whatever reason, you must submit an LOA and inform HR. Your training period may be extended in exceptional circumstances.
