[INFORMATION] Posters Pricing & Information

Image
INTRODUCTION
At Weazel, we offer to put up posters around the city to promote your events, businesses, and advertise any assets you are selling. Posters are a valuable advertising tool and will attract the attention of people all over the city. When requesting us to place posters for you, please ensure you already have a poster created. If you would like assistance in creating a poster you may use our media team and request one here!
RULES & RESTRICTIONS
When requesting posters, there are certain rules and restrictions you must follow for us to be able to place them:
  • Posters must only be for the purpose of events, licensed businesses, or asset sales. Weazel will not offer posters for other items unless explicitly approved by High Command in exceptional circumstances.
  • Posters must not contain any hateful content such as racism, any explicit content, or otherwise offensive or disrespectful content.
  • Posters can only be placed on public property unless prior permission is given by the land owner. Posters can only be placed on walls and other clear, flat surfaces that do not interfere with public displays or buildings.
  • You may only place a maximum of 9 posters at any one time and these cannot be in the same physical location. You may only have a maximum of 3 posters in any one place.
  • Weazel reserves the right to refuse placement of a poster if the content is deemed unsuitable or against our internal guidelines.
    WHAT WE OFFER
You can buy posters in the following quantities: 1, 3, 6, & 9. You may make multiple separate purchases at once, however our bulk discounts will not increase with the number of purchases. When buying posters you must choose a size between small, medium, and large. The larger the size the higher the price, but the more attention you'll grab. Depending on which combination of quantity and size you go for, bulk discounts will apply. If you buy in bulk but do not intend on using all of the allocated posters, you may keep your purchases in our storage until you require them. Our full price list and size guide can be seen below:

    1. Created a poster design either yourself or by submitting a content creation request.
    2. Checked that the poster meets all our rules and regulations.
    3. Decided how many posters you would like and what size and that you are aware of the pricing for your choice
    4. Chosen your desired locations for the posters, gaining any prior permission from private property owners.
    5. (( Uploaded your poster design to Imgbb ))
Once you are happy that you've met all the above criteria, you may come to the Weazel Headquarters and speak to any member of staff. Posters may only be put up by someone who holds the rank of Senior Staff or above, however any employee can happily assist you with getting in contact with someone. Alternatively, you may request us to come to you ((/newsagency)).

Section 12: Getting Started with Advertising

    Image
12.1 HOW TO CREATE AN ADVERTISEMENT
      • Decide where you'd like to create your ad. There are various useful tools for creating ads such as CobbTools, with other tools for fonts and icons. You may want to create a personal google document to store your ads and templates.
      • Start off by gathering the raw information the customer wants in their ad. This will commonly be the main body containing what they are advertising, any extra information such as prices, vehicle modification etc which is usually followed by a contact number, link, or other instruction. Example:
        • Example: Buying 10F Widebody has to be maxed Text offers to 123-4567
      • The next step is to add color, there are two (2) methods to insert colors into adverts. When you use a color code, ALL text after will be in that color, so if you'd like to go back to white text you need to specify it using ~w~.
        Basic Colors
        ~r~Red Text
        ~g~Green Text
        ~b~Blue Text
        ~y~Yellow Text
        ~q~Pink Text
        ~p~Purple Text
        ~o~Orange Text
        ~m~Light Grey
        ~c~Dark Grey
        ~w~White Text
        ~u~Black Text
        Hex Colors
Hex colors can be found across many websites and it's a personal preference for which one you feel comfortable working with.
The format for using a hex color is !{HEX_COLOR} - where 'HEX_COLOR' must be replaced with a color reference in order to be applied. Sometimes a hex color may require a # to be present in-front of the code.

Example: ~g~Buying !{4040FF}10F Widebody ~r~has to be maxed ~w~ Text offers to ~o~123-4567
      • Add icons. There are many icons available for use to make ads look less plain and add something extra. Not all icons work, however those that do can be found on CobbTools or on the Employee Spreadsheet under 'Ad Icons'. Keep the icons relevant to the content of the ad and try to find a balance without using too few or too many.
        • Example: ~g~$ Buying $ !{4040FF}10F Widebody ~r~⚡has to be maxed⚡ ~w~Text offers to ~o~☎️123-4567☎️
      • Test your ad! This is a very important step, before we release the ad to the public we need to make sure it works as intended. Make sure to run your ad locally to check if the fonts, colors, and icons all work as intended. Similarly to icons, some fonts work and some do not, so make sure to test them out. The most common font used is sᴍᴀʟʟᴄᴀᴘs. ((The best way to test an ad is to paste it in /dolow. DO NOT use any commands such as /wr to test your ad.))

Section 11: Radio Codes & Communication Protocols

    Image
    RADIO CODES
    10-1: Start of shift
    10-2: End of shift
10-3: Quiet on the radio (Manager+)
    10-4: Affirmative
    10-9: Unavailable or busy
    COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS
When using the radio on Weazel frequency, always abide by the following procedures and protocols:
    • Do not clutter the radio with unnecessary transmissions or irrelevant information, especially during busier times where important information needs to be relayed such as at an event or during filming.
    • Keep all radio communications clear, concise, and to the point. Do not drag your transmissions on beyond the important information only.
    • Always be respectful and positive on the radio, this is not the place to criticize people or argue. If you need to speak to someone about something that is considered negative or disciplinary, ask them to meet you in person.
    • When operating aircraft such as the helicopter or blimp you must always communicate this over the Weazel radio so employees know what you are doing. Pilots are also required to follow all SAAA communication protocols and communicate with ATC as required.
