  • I reached a point where I needed to escape the city. The world was going too fast, and I simply needed to get my head clear and catch up on the fundamentals again. I took some time out, drove through small towns, and restored cars in my own garage without all the noise.
    
    All that time spent away was a reminder of why I enjoy what I do—working with my hands, repairing things other folks leave behind, and finding peace in doing that. When I returned to the city, I returned focused. I'm prepared to bring that mentality and knowledge here, with a clear head and steady hands.
