- Well, my name is Vincent Lopez. I was born and raised in Los Santos to Mexican immigrants. My father owned and operated a taco stand alongside my mother.
My entire life I was into cars. Like most it stemmed from the first ever fast and furious movie. Seeing all the different cars, the racing, the adrenaline, I was hooked. I spent many days with friends and my dad watching the races. Anything cars related I was into, drag racing, fixing, modifying anything. As time went on and I continued to get older, I looked towards a life of constant.
I attempted working for weazel but I just couldn't find my stride. But recently I was able to get a chance to build my own car from the bottom up and it reignited my love for anything with a motor.
2. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2.1 Why do you want to work at Bayview Auto Center? (Minimum 50 words):
- Like I mentioned above I love anything with a motor. I have always had a passion for cars, specifically restoring them. My father and myself bought and restored an old Chino for his 50th birthday. Recently, I bought a remus which I was able to modify. To me a car is an extension of yourself. You are able to mold it to your personality.
Being able to see everyone come through bayview and mod their vehicles to the way that best express themselves would make every day worth coming to work.
- Well, like I said, I have restored vehicles. Specifically a chino for with my father, that was my first real deep dive into mechanic work. I recently bought a Remus and modified it from the ground up replacing every screw, nut and bolt myself. I am hard working, dedicated and willing to learn.
I'm not just going to sit by and coast, I wanna learn everything I can and I want to be able to build my knowledge every day. To me, being complacent is the same as being lazy. I will always do everything I can to ensure I represent Bayview in a positive light.
- Hard working. I believe thats the key to any employment. I will always go above and beyond what is expected.
Quick learner. If you teach me something I will continue to work at it until it is master.
Customer focused. Its important to be customer focused as you want to ensure you give the best possible service to the customer. At the end of the day without them, there is no Bayview.

3. SCENARIO QUESTIONS
- 3.1 There is a long line of customers all waiting for service and you are the only mechanic on duty, how do you handle this situation?
- I would handle it the same way I would handle it if there were more than just me on shift. I would apologize to the customer's for the long wait, explain to them I am solo at this point and time and that I would see if I could get ahold of other employees. But in the meantime I would be with them as soon as possible and then I would continue working on the vehicles in the order of which they arrived.
- I would double check to ensure the correct fees have been applied to the requested work. If they are correct I would explain to them that its policy that we have to abide by. If needed, I could always call for a supervisor to speak with the customer.
- I would step in and attempt to de-escalate the situation. I would explain to the customer there is no need to be rude and/or threaten anyone. I would speak with the customer to see what they were upset about and attempt to address the root cause. If this doesn't work, I would call for a supervisor to come assist and if needed, I would call for Law Enforcement to come remove the person from the property.
