- Originally born in England, Waldo moved to Los Santos when he was 18 with his parents after his father moved due to his employment as a Lawyer with a commercial law firm based in Rockford Hills. When he arrived, he attended Los Santos University and studied criminology, following in his father's footsteps. During his time at university Waldo kept himself to himself, not joining in with the rest of his classmates when they went out partying as he was too busy studying or working on his collection of japenese import cars. This allowed him to concentrate his time on studying and as a result he achieved a Master's Degree in criminology.
However, after leaving university he decided he didn't yet want to dedicate his life to the bar so has yet to follow through with becoming an attorney. Instead he buys cars at auction, fixes them up and tastefully tunes them and then sells them on at a higher price.
2. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2.1 Why do you want to work at Bayview Auto Center? (Minimum 50 words):
- I want to work at Bayview Auto Center as I enjoy working with my hands and fixing problems. I have had a keen interest in anything with an engine since I was very young and enjoy working with them. I particularly enjoy trying to fix issues that are complex and time consuming as the satisfaction when fixing the issue is immense.
- I am a highly epxerienced mechanic and have been working on vehicles since I was 13 years old. It started with helping my father fix our pit bike and then snowballed from there to doing a full 2JZ engine conversion on a 2001 MX5 when I was 16. I also have an incredible strong work ethic, I don't finish work until the job is done - not just when the clock hits my clock off time. I am also extremely particular which comes in handy during the more complex jobs such as engine rebuilds, I utilise methodical systems to ensure I do not lose parts or bolts and reinstall them in the correct order.
- As mentioned above, I am highly experienced in all forms of mechanical work. I am also an extremely hard worker, often putting work higher than other priorities to ensure the job gets done. I am also a quick learner so will pick up new operational processes extremely quickly. I am also very good at communicating with people and working in a team to achieve a common goal.

3. SCENARIO QUESTIONS
- 3.1 There is a long line of customers all waiting for service and you are the only mechanic on duty, how do you handle this situation?
- I would first radio to see if any other mechanics are available to come and help. I would then inform the queue of people that we are currently understaffed but will work as efficiently as I can to get through the queue of people. I would also not rush myself as I make mistakes when I rush.
- I would tell them as my colleague stated we cannot waive the labour fee and if they were not happy to pay they would need to leave and refuse them custom. If they couldn't afford the labour I would consider gifting them the money to cover it.
- I would ask them to immediately leave the premises, ensuring my colleague is safe and I would then call the police if they refused to leave. If the matter escalates whilst waiting for the police I would protect my colleague using my licensed firearm in self defense if necessary.
