3. SCENARIO QUESTIONS
- 3.1 There is a long line of customers all waiting for service and you are the only mechanic on duty, how do you handle this situation?
- If I was the only mechanic on duty, I would remain calm and organized. First, I would acknowledge each and every customer communicating clearly about the situation, giving realistic wait times and doing the very best possible to help everyone.
- I would listen carefully to their concerns and ensure they feel heard, then politely restate why the labor fee is mandatory and what it covers. Transparency is important.
- If a customer threatens a colleague I would remain calm, support my colleague, politely ask the customer to stop. If the behavior continues I would notify the management immediately to ensure everyone's safety and follow company procedures.
