COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS
When using the radio on Weazel frequency, always abide by the following procedures and protocols:
  • Do not clutter the radio with unnecessary transmissions or irrelevant information, especially during busier times where important information needs to be relayed such as at an event or during filming.
  • Keep all radio communications clear, concise, and to the point. Do not drag your transmissions on beyond the important information only.
  • Always be respectful and positive on the radio, this is not the place to criticize people or argue. If you need to speak to someone about something that is considered negative or disciplinary, ask them to meet you in person.
  • When operating aircraft such as the helicopter or blimp you must always communicate this over the Weazel radio so employees know what you are doing. Pilots are also required to follow all SAAA communication protocols and communicate with ATC as required.
