  • I grew up in the mountains of Tennessee. My family lived pretty far away from town, so I'm not afraid of hard work which I had to do plenty of. I moved out here looking for opportunities since there's not all that much to do back home. When I moved here I worked on getting my trucker's license and spent my time driving trucks. I've been all across the state, every little nook and cranny. In between all of that I spent most of my time trying to meet new friends, many of which I've met right here at Bayview.

2. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 2.1 Why do you want to work at Bayview Auto Center? (Minimum 50 words):
  • During my time in this fine state, which has been nearly a year, I've often found myself going out of my way to come and visit Bayview. I've met plenty of good folk up here who always provide expert level service, and that's something I'm interesting in being a part of.
  2.2 Why should we hire you? (Minimum 100 words):
  • As I have stated before I grew up far away from town, so I ended up having to plenty of car maintenance myself. I can be pretty handy with a wrench, so I think I already have a bit of a head start when it comes to mechanic training. I also spent most of my time in this state trucking, so I know all the roads around here and I'm sure I'll be able to drive a flatbed with no issues. Most importantly I always strive to do the best job I possibly can, and I'm ready to provide great service to Bayview's customers.

3. SCENARIO QUESTIONS

• 3.1 There is a long line of customers all waiting for service and you are the only mechanic on duty, how do you handle this situation?
  • I'd start helping them first come first serve, as well as trying to see if I could any off shift coworkers to come over and help.
  3.2 A customer is not happy with the labor fee and does not want to pay for it. Your colleague has already explained that this fee is mandatory, but they still argue the charge. What would you do?
  • If they refuse to pay for a repair then I'd just have to tell them they're not getting a repair, simple as.
  3.3 A customer is being disrespectful towards one of your colleagues and starts to threaten them. What would you do?
  • I would first try to calmly settle the customer down, if he continues to threaten the other mechanic then I'd try to get help from higher-ups or call the police
