- I am from Winnipeg, Ontario. I moved to Los Santos to make it big. Y'know, acquire some cash, get myself a high rise, and live in a city where people could be free under the sun. Turns out, making money requires hard work. I figured, when I was a boy, my dad taught me a few tricks with cars. Hell, use to drive myself a nice pickup truck when I turned 17 that I fixed up myself. Well, with a little help from my dad but I handed him the wrench and what not. In terms of who I am on a personal level. I'm a guy who believes in Freedom, safety, and compassion. I hope to bring change to Los Santos at some point, maybe spread the wealth around a bit. Till then though, I hope to be a worker at Bayview, keeping people's cars safe and beautiful.
2. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2.1 Why do you want to work at Bayview Auto Center? (Minimum 50 words):
- Well, I heard it's the best mechanic shop in town. Plus, let's face it, driving buses and trucks gets real boring after a while. Hell, I even worked at the toll booth and burgershot and it just felt meaningless. Atleast with Bayview I can get some community and do something that matters. See my efforts around Los Santos as people drive their cars and ride around with a smile on their face.
- As previously mentioned, I've worked with my father on fixing cars in the past. We fixed up a pickup truck for me at 17, and he had this stupid beaten down van that we were constantly fixing up ever since I was a boy. He called it Sally. He was an interesting man. Don't know why he was so attached to it. Either way, I got a lot of experience fixing up old cars, replacing engines, batteries, putting on new coats on paints, changing tires, connecting wiring, e.t.c.). If you take a chance on me, you'll have someone who has base knowledge of rigging some parts together but also someone who is motivated to learn how to fix newer models and create some beauties.
- I'm a motivated worker. I am a strong worker who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. I am compassionate and understanding of others, especially when you might encounter some frustrated people whose cars recently broke down. I'm not afraid of dealing with tough customers or nice ones. I have a basic knowledge of fixing cars and I like to think I'm a fun guy to be around.

3. SCENARIO QUESTIONS
- 3.1 There is a long line of customers all waiting for service and you are the only mechanic on duty, how do you handle this situation?
- I would serve the first customer who was there and I would let the other customers know that I am currently the only mechanic around and that they might have a bit of a wait ahead of them. I would then serve each customer from first to show up, to last to get there, to the best of my ability, taking time, effort and care to fix or modify their cars however they wish. I would try to provide customers regular updates of approximately how long they have left to wait and assure my current customer that I will not be rushing their work just because of a line up.
- I would likely report it to management if the Bayview Handbook doesn't already have code to follow for a situation like this. Assuming there is no code we learn in our training and/or no management around. I would try to convince the customer to pay the fee then file a complaint with Bayview, giving him my name, and to take it up with my bosses. If he continues not to pay, and tries to take the car, I would likely notify the Sheriff Department about the situation.
- I would attempt to de-escalate the situation. I think it's safe to say the safety of my colleague comes first, as well as the safety of the other customers. If a fight were to break out, I'd do my best to break up the fight and get the angry customer off of the premises.
