  • My name is Mohammed zo i get called zo for short. I am 26 years old male and I have been a mechanic at NZ. My favourite hobby is to game, sleep, and cruise around and racing. I was a student at MIT 4 years ago with engineering in mechanics. My history in New Zealand was really different I had my own shop Z auto services. My goal when moving here was to start my own business a mechanic shop or maybe a private business where it can be really popular. First thing that caught my eyes when moving here was either bennys or bayview but I choose bayview instead.

2. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 2.1 Why do you want to work at Bayview Auto Center? (Minimum 50 words):
  • I had a passion for mechanics. I saw bayview and bennys was hiring but I choose bayview instead because it is some where far away in the city and i really like where bayview is located. I love the attidute and pride here at bayview. I had my car repaired and saw how nice the customers was and I even saw a flyer and it made me feel like to be a mechanic here.

  • I am a really great person easy to get along with. I am very happy and kind person with a good and positive attidute. I also have skills in mechanics, like I said i was a mechanic in new zealand making me a good mechanic here at bayview auto center. I studied mechanics till level 10 and did mechanical engineering course till about level 7. I had a dream on opening a shop in NZ but I moved here because of money. I am a really positive person and I know i would make a good employee here at bayview auto.

  • I have great skils in communicating, like using my manners. I also get along with almost everyone around that comes to talk to me. I have great thinking when it comes to repairing cars and engines. I always listen to the customer and my fellow peers when things get hard..

3. SCENARIO QUESTIONS

• 3.1 There is a long line of customers all waiting for service and you are the only mechanic on duty, how do you handle this situation?
  • I would say sorry im the only mechanic in duty please be patient. I would take my time to repair the cars as we dont want bad reviews at Bayview.
  3.2 A customer is not happy with the labor fee and does not want to pay for it. Your colleague has already explained that this fee is mandatory, but they still argue the charge. What would you do?
  • I would tell them to calm down and we explained the fees and that is not optional, if you would like to talk to high command I will call them.
  3.3 A customer is being disrespectful towards one of your colleagues and starts to threaten them. What would you do?
  • I would get him to saftey and call supervisor and cops, I will lock the doors and make the customer wait outside until cops come. I would also note his number plate.
